I want just to inform you about my finding
or different method by which is possible easily
release hydrogen from tap water.
- I dont claim - that this method is efficient
and cheep but is easy for everyone to try.
Take a small metal container -5 cm diameter-
fill it with water and spill on the water surface
one tea spoon of aluminium powder. /powder floats/
Then you need a transformer -min 300V out-
first terminal connect to container and second
just touch al powder pile floating on the water
surface.
High voltage ignites al powder which brightly burns
and releases hydrogen and huge amount of heat.
I have built for this experiment a sealed reaction
chamber with only one outlet for hydrogen . It works.
The sealed chamber proves that burning al powder
takes oxygen from water and release clean hydrogen
under high pressure plus a lot of heat.
One tea spoon of al powder /I use Al flakes/ release
2 liters of hydrogen and higher ignition voltage /I use 800V/
ignites powder in a split of second and then the reaction carry on
without electricity.
