Well I took the plates apart to use them as a template for the 24 that Kevin gave me and I did notice that there was some slime on the cathodes and some of the white-ish coating on the anodes. I also noticed some of the rust colored looking slime coming from the stainless washers in between the plates. Since I bought more nylon spacers yesterday I'll try to use them to space the plates and avoid the stainless washers combined with the acetal washers. I also bought some stainess bolts to put in the assembly for the electrical connections. I just have to recalculate everything out since I'll be trying to get 7 cells to drop the voltage down. What I might do is just do a couple more cells that are 7 plates and just deal with whatever voltage drop I get, but I'll have to tear apart the whole assembly again anyways when I get more plates to put in it. OH...what to do, lol.
