Separating H2 and o2

Simple question guys, from what I gathered the most effiecent electrosys happens when the electrodes are place in close relation to each other. Assuming this is correct, how do you go about separating the two gases??



Second question is, when you allow the gases produced to build up high pressures(by sealing them in sealed containers), is more current needed/drawn from the source to keep up with gas production?? Or does the power draw remain the same??

Thanks for any answers guys, I really have to get out there and start building and experimenting, but for now....

Gas production and efficiency decreases, while heat production increases, as pressure goes up.
