from your project page see you are recycling freon ... wish i could get that in my country

put it in your solar panels, the run that into a heat exchanger, as long as the outside temperature is above -40 degrees F (freon's boiling point), you can suck heat out of the environment much better than if your solar panel was filled wih water

You may not need freon. Propane has similar characteristics, according to Alaskastar. If so, it may be the heat transfer coolant of choice.
Now a heat pump as a source of energy- that has to be one of the most spectacular devices we could promote on this site. Imagine using the difference in temps to generate power, even just the difference between the temp outside and the temp a few feet underground or in the shade or in a pond or stream.
Anyone interested in collaborating on a working model???????????

good idea ... they substitute freon with alcohol based stuff nowadays, but it isnt as good ... as long as you dont burn down the house... have a friend mucking round with liquified petroleum gas (LPG) for his motorcycle, no gas tank, just a barbeque bottle and can confirm it is veeeery cold ... hi to all the hawaians out there: -)
