Some of you Im sure are sitting at your computers dreaming of riches, some of you are sitting there and look at it as hobby, a chemistry experiment for weekend warriors. Others look at it as a way to save a couple bucks on gas ??

Gentleman...read the news, oil could be 100$ within a month if the middle east explodes or a hurricane hits the USA which it will...Global warming is happening.....our President says we cant tackle the issue right now its to expensive. Dumb ass will all be dead will have money then I guess....

It's up to us, the people. You and your cohorts ! The revolution starts HERE !!! You have to put away the patents and how the money will come. It will come if we can get this thing toghther !! There will be so much displacment of economic power and money you will all get some....

But we need to get better organized here ! I see so many conversations start and end or trail off.....no one seems to follow thru.....there are so many ideas ALL great but dis-jointed !

CAN WE START A FORUM - " THE PROJECT " and let's build the dam car, and a kit....and change the world...PLEASE !!

There are so many smart people here with many talents....lets GET IT DONE....

PS - who makes more money off oil than the Middle East, and Exxon....the state and federal govt...interesting isnt.

PSS - Once we had a kit they couldnt stop it.....they cant kill us all ?

High oil prices is just a distraction. The only reason oil gets this much attention is because its hitting peoples pocketbooks. Your proposal is interesting as most, not all, people that are looking into alternative fuel is because of the pocketbooks. The pocketbooks brought them, and me, here, and to say that people should put their ideals of money aside for the betterment(is that even a word) of all is an oxymoron. I agree with you on what it should be, but its not how it is. Right now, its all about the money, in one way, or another.

It just seems there is a lot of secrets etc, which I understand, but then moves foward...read that who alaska blah blah thread....4 months of posts etc. In the end it just dies out and no one knows any more...

If we took the approach more in a project management style maybe more success would follow.....ok so I was PM at Gruman what can I say....

History was made 120 years ago, distorted in history books and forgotten. Remembered 35 years ago, distorted again, and forgotten. And so on and so forth. Its a shame. I got into this, got all rage against the machine and all that, but, you know, that doesn't work either. I was chatting with a person a while ago, and he said that even if some profit from this, it can still be good, and I can see his point, as it brings the technology out. I don't like to live in bondages of energy and debt, which is exactally what this world has turned to. And besides, it not so much the price per barrel of oil, but the fact that US refineries are working less, and getting paid more. Who in the hell wouldn't want that, if you're in oil I mean?

It just takes one US refinery to start refining more and more oil into gasoline, and what happens is that the rest either start producing more as well, to make up for less $ per gallon of gasoline, or they realize less annual profit. Now which one do you think would happen?

An analogy to this is kinda like when there was the big IT boom in the mid 90's, and people were getting paid hand over fist, could set their own rates and hours. Then outsourcing happened, India, etc. Now IT professionals are fighting for retail jobs.

I don't believe these gas prices will last, but that is just a guess. It just takes that one refinery...

The markets work in very strange ways and are structured by the laws of supply and demand. Ohh and greed and corruption....

Just look at the American Farmer.....they turn fields all the time, because to pick the lettuce in 20000 acres would actually lower the price where everyone would lose money...to much supply. So they pay them to turn it.

The whole energy thing, is deeper though. Because of the ecological impact, the oil company execs will still be stuck indoors with the rest of us in 50 yrs or dead ?

The impact of the whole energy economic cycle is just incredible. Everyone is in bed toghther in one form or another. The middle east has it in large reserves, the oil companies pump it, refine it, sell. And govt taxs it at local, state and federal level.

There is a economic tie that is so huge no wonder we are willing to invade ? countries to control it ? Its a way of life, its a whole economic system.

Imagine for one moment if we could get a hydro car, and retro fit the country in 24 months. What would be the impact, ok the oxygen levels in the world would immediatly go up and the earth would START heal...

$ wise...the middle east would beg us to stop. WE LOVE YOU come back please....why well they have alot of sand and thats about it to sell. There broke.....

All the oil companies would start to refine like crazy !!! GAS would go to $1 a gall to make people not switch......

US Govt would go nuts trying to tax water or H2) cars to fill the deficiat we create ! But how ?? I guess at inspection if your car was H2O you would get a tariff ???

Im just curious if there would be a destruction of H20 and thereby we would create a water shortage ?? But from what I know so far it seems it would return to water ???
