Hi Kevin and eco

Well about the money, I am willing to spent a lot if it can be done. I am allied with a auto mechanic in this project, and if it is necessary to change the camshafts he can do that.

We was thinking of using an older car with 1.3 to 1.6L motor.... No turbo... These engine's runs about 3000rpm going about 100km/hour.

To start I am interested in making a electrozyzer that can make enough hydrogen to run this motor size.

In Denmark small cars goes from 1-1,5L medium: 1,6-1,9L large:2,0-and over.

If you have a car with "large" motor size you also pay taxes because of the greater pollution ;-)... and a gallon fuel cost about $7

If I can make an electrolyzer that can produce enough hydrogen, then we will find the right car with this motorsize and modify to fit the system.

I was thinking of the highvoltage type described in this file on page 10

But I am not sure! I am working as electronic engineer, so the electronic part will not cause so many problems...

My problem is that I think many of the people in the forums around are theorist... I mean they have not tried to make a big electrolyzer for real.

I also see that some make reactors and others make electrolyzers, and the reactors make most hydrogen... I kont know exact what the difference is!

I really hope you can help me making enough hydrogen !

I also forgot to say that we were thinking of using a carbureted motor with 4 cylinders. We can also get a car with injection.

Myren.
Each person here could probably take you a diffrent dirrection with the end results being somewhat simialr.I personaly have yet to expirience the power of hydrogen and water injected vehichle. But I have read enough to understand a little of the things you will need if your vehichle is operated by a computer. The tampering laws in the USA forbid anyone from altering the vehichles ECM.The state of California has a NEW LAW wich provides a saftey net but requires re-titleing of the vehichle under special rules. With that being said if I were you I would find out the LAW of your country or state and get that -part- understood while decideing on an electrolyzer design.

If those problems are not of concern GREAT. Then I would wanna know how much excess power your vehichle has from the alternator before going further.

The most effecient design is that of a serries cell.Look at Bob Boyce's welder project that should make enough gas but i think its designed to run from 120v.(60 cells x2v per cell needed =120v)So if you go that route you'll need a power supply to get those volts from your vehichle.I dont know how to do that.

Another for sure way to make some gas is like that of Chris's pvc type.Thats what we call a paralle design.

There is a NEW SERRIES design, that of Herman Anderson that is being persued by a few people at the moment. It envolves 12v constant power and a pulsed HV.That hasnt been completed by anyone but Mr.Anderson as of yet, that I know of but of course I dont know everything....lol

Oh yeah there is another paralle design ,that of AntDavidson here in the project section another for sure way to make some gas.

Lots of options but as far make'n enough gas to run your car on nothing but hydroxy would probably like that of Bob Boyce's welder type.I cant verify that my self but it can be verified to make more gas than any of the other methods that have been completed.

There may even be more methods that are completed and tested.

Are you trying onboard hydrogen production :?:

You need minimum 1kg of hydrogen/hour .If you onboard produce that amount you will be Lord of rings. :)

Hi Kevin and eco

Thanks for your answers!

Kevin: That is exactly the same type of electrolyzer I am linking to.... I have already seen Bob's electrolyzer, but I was hoping to get in contact with him here

I was thinking of making the electrolyzer half the size, and the 120-140 cells so it will match danish wall power 240Vac

Question is: are 6.5LPM enough to run a car with a 1,3 - 1.6L motor

Does anyone know how to get in contact with bob... email phone etc. :?:

I really woud like to talk to Bob some how.... Well time is 23:50 in denmark now, but thanks for taking your time to help me! :D

1kg of hydrogen contains over 11000 Lit of hydrogen. That means your electrolyser must produce aprox. 180L/min.
I told you : Lord of rings :)

My question;
has any body here suceeded in creating enough a genorator that is capable of making enough gas to run a, say, 1.6L engine on water (on demand). You cant jump into this stuff...its gonna take time....in this kindof research you constantly finding out new things, and constantly asking new questions. But we must figure out how much water or hydroxy it will take to run an engine....I know ive seen numbers before... i think chemelec's site has some numbers on that kinda stuff.
Wake up America.

Dan Dan,

Amazingly ther are still people that have'nt grasped that hydrogen can be made 4 diffrent levels of potency. Ortho/para/deuterium/and the radio active tritieum or how ever ya spell that.Yes you are rite about something new all the time....distingueshing between between diatomic and monatomic has been a challenge for most and some may never realize the diffrence between the last two. Then who knows how many levels there are of helium.Allways somethinh new.At least for now tho we should understand the diffrence between diatomic and monatomic hydrogen,I may be off a little on my own understanding but we do know that there are at leats 3 diffrent levels of hydrogen gas being made to date with vast diffrencies in potency.I think you'll find it very hard if not impossible to find correct numbers for hydrogen to compare for use in an ICE.If you found numbers somewhere it was probably for bottled hydrogen wich is the lowest level of hydrogen.....I may be wrong ......

Hi

Does anyone know the proportion between hydrogen and air to get a engine to run smooth.

If you know the proportion, it will be more easy to calculate how much hydrogen that is needed!
