some very bad material(ruberised cork).In the future only 3mm siliconized HDPE.

no one has said anything about the weather stripping ......dont know if anyone knows or what.I haven't heard anything bad about it yet...

Thanks for the weatherstripping idea, it's working very well for me, and doesn't seem to react at all to the solution. I've been meaning to respond to you and thank-you for the idea, but it has continued to slip my mind. I have been looking for your "weatherstripping" thread, but it seems to be gone now?

Regardless, I'm using 5/16" neoprene weatherstripping ($4.99CDN for 10' x 3/4" x 5/16") between "plates" of stainless steel shim stock. While 5/16" is a little thick, it can be compressed down very easily, and allows me to play around with the spacings between the plates.

I believe his first post about it was in the "Eco...." post (the one with 3 pages so far) Not this one. And, I looked but don't think he made a thread just for that (I may be wrong)
