Most of the machines are red and some contrasting gey/blue colour on their covers and cowlings, and all the wheels are made of black rubber.
I wonder if anyone has attempted to create a children's story based on the characters of knackered tillers and tractors? Probably not. Good job too I expect.
... Oh yes! At that shop there has been an old 'senior-car' sitting by the fence for the past decade or so. By 'senior-car' I mean one of those 24 V four-wheel mobility vehicles for people who can't walk far.
I asked at the shop if I could take it off their hands and they said words to the effect of yes, and added words to the effect that it was completely and absolutely an ex-senior car. Y'see I was interested in those lovely at-least ten-year old 38 A/h discharged batteries. (You guessed it, didn't you)!

Well to cut a long story short I've got that machine continuing its peaceful rusting outside my kitchen door right now (She's sleeping actually). And the batteries are now on the bench and have been pulsed for three days.
At the start the SG wouldn't register except to say it was approaching water. No playing games about the speed that float flew to the bottom of the meter each time I sucked some electrolyte into it.
Now after (my usual) three days, all 12 cells (2 batts) are in the *%+#$) green! Gawd I love myself sometimes.
