bought a small drill press 2day and now i really see what ya mean....i only thought i did before , the 3 side thing was confusing me.so what u r saying is lay a tile on the plate,cut out the center of the tile leaving 'bout an inch around the plate,put loctite on it ,doo that 7 more times,take something like an inch thick piece of wood or something drill some holes around to and bolt those onto the end plates and waalllaaaa.......serries cell ,make 6 more of those hook up in serries and BOOM

Well....

The cell design is pretty much exactly what eco was referring to.

However, you would already have a series cell. This design pushes current in series through 7 cells (or more). No need to connect any more in series. If you do it on a car, it will actually not work sinc ethe voltage will be MUCH too low to operate. You have to put them in parallel if you want to make more units, and this will not make it more efficient, but only make more gas production.
