I currently use 1.5" wise .018" 304 ss around 6" in length. How much effective current is still available at the bottom of these plates?
Would using copper wire to the plates help?
Would using triangular shaped plates...wider at the top make sense?
Numbers...I want numbers....

* has anyone tried to design a simple SUSPENDED 8 plate array where all outer sides are covered with say glued on inner tube rubber? Might use Goop...WindowWeld? I'd try using small well spaced holes in the rubber top and bottom to allow gas escape and circulation of fluid.
Would most stray current be eliminated?
Would the rubber and Goop or whatever insulate well...AND hold up to soda or NaOH? Not to mention heat?
This would eliminate the hard to make container and gain most of the advantages of lower voltage series cells?
Several of these could put out a lot of gas using a small space and produce little heat?
