question on my 80 cell Bob Boyce Design

I was looking at the thin stuff [ 22 guage I think ] mainly because of the price.
I have used this thin stuff in small units and I didnt notice any warping but I wasnt really looking for it either.
- I suspect that machining will be better with the 16 guage stuff.......
Once resonance is achieved it should run pretty cool - shouldnt it??????

Tj4440 - wont the holes through the sides of each cell 1/2 inch below plate height cause Electrical leakage ??
The concept of using a plexiglass rail to feed the cells is great - but I feel it needs
to be above the plate height and use a level sensor to turn pump on / off
to fill.

The fill rail does work but i have to have the water two inches below the plate's making another box right now it is one inch thick plexi and i will use bobs fill rail design in that one so I can utilize more of the plate's Cell is producing 24 liters per min right now at 138 volts 14 amps ran it straight for 6 hours and there was no fluctuation in amps.checked gas production 5 times in that period always the same.Oh ya my plats are 13 gauge .093 not 16. I will put another pic of my box with fill rail installed.

cwaugs I just bought some 316l 16 gauge for my next box it cost me 435. that was for steel and laser cut to 6x6.Thats 128 plates total full sheet.

you will probably regret have'n that sheet laser cut.Bob went thru a batch of laser cut s.s. and they ended up be'n good for just boosting.I don't know if you could have em annealed and fix em or not.A magnet would probably do as a simple test.

I guess so, Bob said it ruined a batch of his plates and Sid said it magnetized his or Sid said his lasor cut plates were attracted to a magnet.
