In my country we use absolutely special resin named "Dentacryl" to glue plexiglass together.
Its been used in dental laboratory for dental casts.
The advantage of this two-compounds resin is that after its hardened it is plexiglass itself in it´s molecular structure. So if using Dentacryl you obtain monolithic plexiglass container at the conclusion.
Just google "Dentacryl" and you´ll see.
Unfortunately, almost all links you get are not in English.
Anyway they say it is "methyl-methacrylate casting resin" for dental (and other) purposes, see manufacturer´s website: www.dentalas.cz
As I see their website just now, I hesitate if they still produce the above resin and if they have any dealership in the U.S. market. Sorry.
As I see, they have some representative to Latin America.
But this resin may be produced in your country under another commercial name. Ask dentist laboratory suppliers for
methyl-metalcrylate resin.
If you will be successful then let me know because there is very special way how to prepare the resin to harden. The instruction leaflet is not correct in this section.
