
Starting from the bottom:
Negative to the bottom dish 1.
Dish two is 2v more [ even though it is " nuetral " ].
then dish three is Positive at 4v. ..............
This is a Series cell. The applied 4v is being split in the series connection so that
two cells are both receiving 2 v each.
Then the top works the same - another Series cell from the top down.
Then you have the two of them working in a Parrallel set up because they are connected
to a common centre voltage.
Thats good that you are not running 12 Volts across the cables, cause that would
make 6V across each cell and would create lots of Steam.
Would you consider running this set up in a tube that sealed against the edges of the
dishes.
Then having the Tube Lie Horizontal.
7 Plates to connect across 12 v.
Of course there needs to be a way of collecting the gas produced
and filling...etc
All good fun. just be careful.!
