Hi Walt and Eco

Sounds like from eco I need 16 LPM of hydroxy to run my mower and Walt says 2-3.

I realize from the past that no one has even tried to run an engine on hydroxy because of the pencil. Do we really understand this fact?

If you get a pencil out and write down figuires based of bottled hydrogen Eco is right. You need 10 times more under these calculations. We are talkin the fresh stuff at full rock & roll energy release. 8) (Running on old hydrogen is like eaten stale bread to a motor)

Thanks for the cold hard facts Walt you have just made my day.

Walt if I am not mistaken I believe your answer to running that engine is as follows:

#1 You have plenty of hydroxy to run your engine

#2 Hydroxy and AIR plus water mist should work.

#3 I am new and have no where near the actual experience with hydroxy gas that you have along with many others.

#4 Now having said that, The condensation in your briggs at start up was enough to cause the engine to run fine for a few seconds and then it stopped because there was not enough moister to slow detonation.

#5 Maybe with an ultrasonic bug mister it would work right as it should.

#6 If you are going to run the engine on pure hydroxy you are going to need as many CFM's as the stroke of the engine displaces.

#7 If you feed 15- 20 LPM into it like ECO's calculations suggest it shouldn't do anything but flood out or explode with the exiting gases around the engine.

#8 I use points to keep me on track and not to come off sounding like a know-it-all. I hope each of you will have something to add to help me to really understand what to do to run an engine on hydroxy.

I have races cars from my childhood. At over 100 MPH at age 11 and building my own races cars. I AM VERY PERCEPTIVE ABOUT WHAT SHOULD OR SHOULDN'T WORK!

Just get a wif of hydroxy sometime and explode a little of the fresh stuff and you will become a believer. This is the way I have been using differant race fuels for over 30 yrs. Hummm.......Yeah smell this stuff you guys.

At this point I have been following this research for several months and have a water mister built and about $500 of SS plate .075 thick.

I also have SS tubes of many sizes, circuits, chambers, bubblers and much much more only in that short time.

Thanks for your comments and again I am in no way an authority on this subject yet, just got a gut feeling that is further fueled by the collection of all of your thoughts.

We can't miss like this. No I do not calculated as much as I would like to, but many of you can do this and is your part to get us up and running on Hydroxy.

#4.5 I will say I have a car running on 12 LPM of gas. Nice try though.

That was a great statement........but you didnt specify what type of gas or was it as a booster? It doesnt matter if you dont answer.

On patents and copyright...the Canadian companies who produce hydroxy booster units keep taking each other to court....only people getting rich are Lawyers.

Hi Mark and Eco

First let me say to you Eco that my engine is 4 stroke and I use water mist also. Have you ever used a 4 stroke or any water mist?

Now back to you Mark. I was referring to an engine I run on a small propane torch tank. Course they tell me out here that propane is way more powerful per liter than Hydroxy so I should be needing 100 liters per minute using hydrogen. Basically all I hear is that all that matters much is the hydrogen from hydroxy with the oxygen being almost useless.

I will explain it another way. In combustion terms gas explodes. Take 1 liter of any gas and explode it and I will use hydroxy and let's see who's eyes get the biggest.

Hi Eco

I see that I didn't answer your one question about water mist. I use a old pressure washer pump head that is rated at 4000 RMP's and put it on a slower motor with less HP. The pump head is rated for a 5 HP 4 stroke. I used a 1/3 hp dryer motor running at 1750 rpm's. It doesn't take much power to run it at 1200 psi.

I think it's good to share experiences of many kinds. It's ok. My experience was long ago and since that time I have not done any racing after,so my experiences are very small.

Your car uses water mist? How do you control detonation?

Should I be quiet or did I answer your questions? 8)
