Hi all,
I am not new here but I never posted anythings and I thoughd maybe I should post my expirience during my tests.
First in regards to gluing acrylic, I am using a bit of aceton and put some small scrap pieces of the acrylic in it let it disolve till it is like a caulk then apply to both sites of the acrylic and put both plates together let it dry for 24to36 hours and it is strong like a laminate and will not be damaged by KOH or NaO.
second as to seal cells I am using what is called "seal all for gasoline and oil" it last .
third I have build lots of serial cells and my best as of right now is a 16 cell unit where the middle plate is connected to the negativ and the both endplates to the positive from a old hobby mig welder which gives 18V up to 80A. the double unit pulles 14A and puts out 2.5LPM. this is about 40% more then with two identical 8 cell seriell units combined in to one bubbler.
the plate area is 3x3 inches with 1/4 spacing, because I tested 1/8 spacing and after about 450 hour the plates was etched and the output was only 1.2LPM.
If I can figure out how to post picture I will post some of it.
maybe this will help some folks especially with the glue and the seal.

Hi all,
I started my project page herby 53 but need to get use to it. I posted a pic out of a smal video clip what shows how the different plate version create gas. the right side is a horizontal version with three sets of 3 inch diameter ss mesh plates 1/4 spacing and the left side is a 3 set 4inch square ss mesh with 1/4 spacing in vertical. both sets are powered simultanlouisly with 12V 16A the horizontal plates start like a explosion where the vertical need a few second to show anythings.
another part is the discoloration the vertical generate the typical brownish sludge but the hortizontal runs clear. I have even used a horizontal set to clean realy brownish sludge electrolyte it is amazing.
I dont know why and how this works but it is. as soon as we can post videos then I will make one from this where it can be seen better.

Hi electrogas man,
in my case I use the seal all more as a sealer because my spacer are HDPE what is pretty much impossible to glue but the seal all works well as the sealer and can even be taken off easely if needed because it does not bond to the spacer.
