my cell i built is 64, 16ga. 6x6 set at 1\16 of a inch set in 3\4 plexa glass does this kind sound like some one else design.
can i sizzle the water with with a 12vdc YES but my leads will melt in less than 30 seconds. i went back to your old electrolysis pages that i though i had menerized i can see what you are doing now. i did cut the back half off of the 64 cell an put 32 back in. with the same 12v production i would say it would be about the same [wish i had measured befor i cut half off] but with the 32 i think it makes more per cell. are my spacings to close? i have ordered a comp. program with a ps go1 this ought to be fun. i can go faster or slower higher or lower all with pushing the button but it only puts out 12 amps i think i read somewhere kind of like having a raido station with out a transmiter[bob]. how farapart are your new plates set ?

Chris, If you think this guys questions are pretty bad, You should see some of the Emails I get on this subject.

Most of them have Absolutely No Understanding of Electroncs, Electrolysis, or Even BASIC Electricity Principals.

And they expect to get there car running on hydrogen in a day or two!

RESEARCH and looking at Pictures of Past Designs is Definately Important. But it also requires Actually Understanding all the in's and out's of them. Why they Did or Didn't work.

Most of the people on here are Copiers. Copying something that doesn't work is Pointless.

Additionally Proper Documentation is Essential, as in:
What Voltage Potential was use?
How Much actual Current was used?
How Much Gas was Generated?
And Waveforms if that applies?

When guys say: "I got a LOT of Bubbles", That doesn't mean Anything.

Duke, in regards to your question to Chris, if you build a big box with dividers but use the same water you are still turning the box into one large cell. Remember water passes electricity. To Bob Boyce, how you doing sir, hoping to talk to you soon.

Kevin you are not looking very hard. You are also not reading carefully. Read page 31. --Pictures, well they're all over the place. Look in the old electrolysis photos all of the 40's

If you want to work with this stuff you need to put the time into at least reading and researching. If you don't you're just going to blow yourself up because you THINK you understand what you are messing with.

Then look at the new project. It too shows how the plates are configured electronically.

There is no electrical path (ZERO Conductivity) between the even plates and the odd plates.

Kevin answer me this. Have you taken the time to sit down and READ the electrolysis project from start to finish?
