Huck,
Beware of gadgets, gizmos, or additives that claim to improve gas mileage.
You've seen the ads. "Get 30 to 60 per cent better fuel economy with [fill in the blank]." I truly believe most people have a problem with math.
All of us would like to get double our mileage.
I have an ECM Programer This unit is Diablosport Programmer. It's for a 2000 Chevy Silverado. I have been logging information for about a year and a month. And just now making some minor adjustments. I must say it has help my mileage. My mileage has always been close to 14.5 mile per gallon. Average fill up at 390 miles. This is a years average.
With some minor reprogramming. I have improved. It has increased to 480 mile per tankful. This is a one month average. That's an extra 90 mile per tankful.
As the next step is the introduction of Hydroxy. Log for a month and make improvements from there. The cell I will be using will be a series cell. I will post Information and mileage gains.
Also I will post a parallel cells design and mileage increase. This will be going in my 1996 Plymouth Rally Van.
