I'm *not* going to actually use a vacuum - open to the air.

If my test is successful, I suspect vacuum might enhance the performance.

If the system when fitted to a car was under vacuum ( i.e. the steam being sucked into the engine ) the BIG unknown is how long the steam has to be in contact with the plasma for it to crack. I guess the more energy in the plasma, the faster the steam will crack.

Hopefully I can let people know within a couple of weeks....

xcite - A neon or a ignition coil will wipe out ANY diode instantly.

From what I see, it is the Xray and UV that does the splitting with plasma electrolysis, not the electrostatic or electromagnetic components of the atom or the source. That being said, if you can magnetize the atom in a plasma state, then I suspect you can separate it magnetically.

Like I always say, plasma is not a state of matter, it is matter in a state of change.
