So it's solely the voltage that makes the gas? Will there be any advantage to going with the .0275" gap then?

No Advantage!
In fact, at .65 millimeters the gap may defeat the design purpose. Which is to provide just enough dialectric water to inhibit breakdown at the 20Kv you are shooting for.

Question. Have you found a correction table for gas flow meters of any type that will give a corrected hydroxy gas flow rate in cubic liters per minute?

FYI ,The size of the T316L I use is :

-External pipes : 25 mm
-Internal pipes : 18 mm
Thickness for both : 2mm

The space between the 2 pipes is :

(25-(2x2))-18 =
3 mm /2 =
1.5mm


1.5 mm is a correct value for making bubbles !

As Stanley Meyer said ,the room left between pipes must not be above 2mm.

Well I went with nine tubes, each 9" long. My spacing ends up being 1.52mm, very similar to what you have, Francois.
Metric doesn't scare me, I work in a medical device design facility!
