WARNING Inhaling gasious zink oxide is bad. This is taken from a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
Inhalation:
May cause irritation to the respiratory tract. Symptoms may include coughing and shortness of breath. Inhalation can cause a flu-like illness (metal fume fever). This 24- to 48-hour illness is characterized by chills, fever, aching muscles, dryness in the mouth and throat and headache.
The patent states that the cell acts like a capasiter. the dyilectric isn't ment to have electrolytes. Thats right, It shouldn't conduct current but should show a path to ground and give you an instantanious voltage just like a regular cap. Ablating zink into solution would defeat this purpose. I'm new at this so please forgive my ignorance if i'm not up to date.
