Yes reinforcing would work.
just some calcs:
10 A x 13.8 V = 130 W
assuming High efficiency 2.5 W / L /Hr
that is 130 W / 2.5 W = 52 L / Hr
so [ 52 L / Hr ] / 60 mins = 0.87 L per min.

if you can get efficiency of 2.16 W / L /Hr
thats 130 W / 2.16 W = 60.1 L/ Hr
Which is 1 L per min.

OK Glenn thanks for that,I don't quite get the maths but anyhow will give this thing a go and if need be might have to drop the electrolite level down a bit to avoid bubble over. I figured bigger is probbably better.but even so won't take up much more space than current unit,and should give me heaps more gas.Just as aside saw a small battery blank with top cut off today and thought the box had some good potential for a series cell,this thing had no plates in it just the box,I imagined a couple of ss plates in each cell with some mods should work quite well.
