It can be produced by using good old fashioned simple DC electrolysis.
The turquoise foam in the photo comes not from an oxidized layer of tarnish, it comes from the flow of electricity and the production of hydrogen.
As long as you run the cell, the cell will continue to produce the Cu(OH)2 until your electrodes have completely eroded and gone!
Puharich probably did use copper for the experiments, but the versions he used in the motor home, had to be made out of another material otherwise, he would be replacing electrodes every 50 miles or so.
