The first idea was to redirect the magnet force pushing back on the vehicle opposing the vehicle movement. You basically have two magnets secured to the back of the vehicle. The you have a U-shaped hydraulic circuit with two magnet cylinder at each end. As one side of the u-tube magnet was opposed it would tranfer the pressure to the other piston magnet at the other end of the u-tube, which would further apply more force to push the vehicle forward. I build a prototype but it did not work, anyone car to explain.
The second basically uses gravity and a wieght to push down on the top of another hydraulic circuit. As the weight(gravity) push down on the top piston, it applies pressure to the magnet piston on the other side of the hydraulic circuit. This would then apply force to move the vehicle forward. I was partially through testing this but my hydraulic circuits kept blowing the seals. Would this work?? Thanks for any insite. FernStatistics: Posted by clone477 — Wed Aug 31, 2005 8:50 pm
