Pollution is bad, pollution kills a lot of things, pollution causes a lot of local problems, These are the observable facts; But does it significantly effect the global temperature? I don't think it does, and I don't think anyone has enough evidence to say that it does.
We should be more concerned with the quality of life than the temperature at which we might have to live twenty even ten years into the future.
I'm worried about industry dumping chemicals into the ocean. Thats a direct threat on the global oxygen supply.
I'm worried about business clear cutting native forests. Thats a direct threat on the local food supply.
I'm worried about landfills, permanently destroying underground water sources, and factories tainting every body of freshwater in the world with mercury.
What I'm NOT worried about is the average temperature rising a degree.
Heat is healthy, its the other stuff that bothers me.Statistics: Posted by Cryptonic26 — Mon Feb 20, 2006 8:14 am
