If I remember correctly the outback can be used in tandem (and up to 4 controllers) with one being a "master" and the rest "slaves". I bet they could but the standard disclaimer applies here

I didn't know if you could hook them up in parallel to the same battery bank or if you would need two battery banks. It would be from the same source. And it wouldn't mess with it and screw it all up by having 2 hooked up?

I've never tried it but your not going to double you power. the only advantageof having two would be to handle say 120 amps with 2 c-60s
