I'm a private person, live in the US, could go public someday,
just haven't found a reason.
Well the core is hard so will just have to work! (lol) It'll be running
parallel to and triggered by same signal as the ignition coil, thru
a high-speed mosfet. HV from the ignition coil will be flowing through
two branches of a wien bridge (less the resistors). The bridge will be
my coil, trying to inject more current from the battery into the HV wires
to do what S1R9 does with less hardware. I figured out the coil doesn't
need to be a transformer. Both primaries will be wired together to serve
as one coil, with iron-resin core and steel wire keeper; it'll have to do.

However, you will Not get very good High Frequency results with that idea of yours. To wind a proper transformer, You need to determine inductance values and proper ratios for the frequency involved.
As to EI Ferrites, they are Quite Readily Available.
I have quite a few, fairly good sized ones and not expensive.
Probably the postage cost exceeds the actual ferrite cost.
But without more info, (frequency, power, what is the drive circuit?) I have no idea if they are suitable for your application.

Is in my electronics folder. I have more MOT dissassembly photos
but won't bother using up Chris' cyberspace with them unless
someone has an interest. I just poured a core between two
teflon-taped primaries. Is fiberglass resin and iron powder core,
EZ to do with stacks of matched coil sizes, many wraps of thin
steel wire as magnetic keeper.
Sometimes easier (and cheaper) to just make stuff than trying to
find who sells it.
