I use aluminium plate and ferrite magnet to make rotor. Two aluminium plate cut into round shape (OD similar to compact disk) and epoxy magnets between plates. .
I measured the amperage that goes into cell is much higher compare to input but voltage across the cell is just 3.3V. I believe with just high voltage potential will not produce gas. It need current. I have even tried pulsing spark plug coil where high voltage output goes to cell. Not much gas produced. I use no electrolyte for the cell, just tap water. For 0.18A input we can't get huge amount of gas. I'm just looking into higher efficiency electrolysis using submerged cell.
I doubt series cell and high voltage can go together. Too high voltage can produce arc in open space. We don't have to worry about arc in submerged cell. Still Bob Boyce series cell gave the best results for amount of power put in. I'm trying to break this efficiency using some other method and see if these methods can do that or not.Statistics: Posted by kumaran — Tue Dec 11, 2007 3:47 am
