i looked through your project page and i noticed that you did some nickel plating on your herman one. how much did that run you? that thing looked big, like 13in dia?

The soft steel cost me 10 $ a piece and i prepared them myself for the plating shop(sanded and drilled holes in em) and the plating cost me 10 $ a piece.That was after several phone calls to the plating shops around to find the best deal.Most plating shops were asking 38$ a piece.So I have a total of 40 $ in those two 13" diameter electrodes.the soft steel was 1/8" thick.

Finally got some glue...been a long time find'n it as it was hid at true value but I have some now.woo hooo!!!!Im still work'n on my hermanizer cell with 12 volts once its ready and work'n good Ill look at ways to lower the voltage and have it proportional to the temperature of the cell.Im deffinately not so much worried about effecientcy..all i care about is that it does the job. :wink:
