bench tested at my preferred 13.8 V.....
Not as good as I had hoped. Again I think I have some design flaws.
tube spacing too close??? is 2.4 mm.
Possibly incorrect concentration of KOH.
Bolts Too small, so voltage drops at higher current.

Put into car , its a real hassle with all those separate containers and

Yes, I noticed that tubular or seperate cells do not get that central layer of gas rising that appears centered between the plates that the series cell stacks seem to do. Never did find out the cause of that, could be magnetic in nature. It's like having invisible plates in between each pair of physical plates. This also does not happen if a proton exchange membrane is inserted between plates to seperate the gases. This may be source of the extra gas production (higher than 100% faraday) observed in the straight DC catalytic reactions. The 2.4 mm spacing is not too bad, should not be too much bubble occlusion. The bolt size may be a bigger limiting factor there, as it will take a lot more current to get the same amount of gas with the tubular cells. You might want to try going to 8 cells to make current drop and still get enough hydroxy gas to boost with.

On another note, I don't know how much longer I will be able to help people here. I have some serious medical issues (read my post in the pub for more info) that may prevent me from being active for much longer.
