can anyone remind me why i'm over here in iraq wasting my time if the US is going to be stupid and start banning the simple things?

god this shit pisses me off so much, makes me wonder if i'm not better off moving to another country that isn't so close to a dictatorship. yeah cry all you want about it being a democracy, IT AIN'T. we lost that went GOVERNMENT agencies like this one here tries to ban simple things, along with plenty of others.

nothing like that is ever gonna be on the market.....maybe if the earth is destroyed and we have to travel to some other planet to get the water then pay for it ,or some darkness where there is no sunshine to get the free electricity....or elect Arnold Swartzaniger for president.

Sounds like a bunch of whining folks looking for funding ... anyone in the world can make a hydrogen storage system and run that on any vehicle .. just like a propane conversion will work on any vehicle ... just use brute force, compress it and store in a tank .. one could use scuba tanks ... they can hold the pressure ... no danger there ... hydrogen under pressure if mixed with air should a the canister be compromised will not explode ... burn hot yes. In fact gas in a partialy filled tank is far more dangerous ... just look at all the explosions when a mustang got re-ended amongst other vehicles. In fact if the had to get a safety rating on using gas today using todays guidelines I doubt it would be granted.

Economic factor -

Per KiloWatt it is still cheaper to run Hydrogen under brute force (using hydro.. in most places) then it is to run gas or diesel.

Put a solar grid up, buy a hydrogen compressor (about 1400.00) scuba tank 250.00 all in all .. about 2500.00 or so one could have a hydrogen storage system.

It is stll funny how people still have the Hindenberg sindrome ... the outside of the Blimp was covered with what makes some darn good explosives is why it burnt so hot and fast.
