i just got my shop done an back to playing again.
i built a 7 cell box out of 3/4 plexa the dividers are 1/4 plexa with 1/4 groves an 1/4 deep you can slip the dividers in an out.
my ? is how tight do they have to be not to lose current between the cells
the plates are not done yet hopefuly this week then i will have to figure out a way to drive it.

Bob would know the best way to do that....Im not sure what he uses ....??

hey guys,

I spoke to bob about his multicell units and from what I can tell he doesnt use any glue, but he plates fit, good and tight, so leakage round the plates is kept to a bare minimum.

i dont think bob's were quite the same as mine. i am kinda useing cris's idea but in one box. but it looks like bob's 80 cell unit, i guess i could use siclone to seal the divders. they are not that lose, how tight is tight

the aim being to stop the water passing freely past the plates, firm as possible without breaking the plastic

or as tight + firm as you can manage?

Ive used clear 'roofing / guttering' style silicon in my cells and had no problems so far, mine usage hasnt been submerged though
