Howdy Eco,

It could be that your first cell has a different impedance from the rest.
If all cells are the same, you'd see a DC voltage across each one that is fairly similar.

You could liken this to the charging of batteries, as each of their cells should be closely matched during charging.

If the affected cell is running cooler than the others, or has a lower terminal voltage, that might be as a result of a richer concentration of chemical additives in that particular cell.

I have yet to try a multicell series arrangement, but I can imagine that I will see similar problems that would need to be ironed out.

All 7 cells are absolutely same.same size of plates,same electrolyte level,same electrolyte.Every cell has own container.Only connection between cells are #10 wires.Electrolyser is connected to power supply with adjustable amperage and voltage.

Measure the Voltage Drop across Each Cell. You will probably find some differences. Probably a MAJOR Difference on that one Cell.

These Differences Reflect on Different Impedances.
Definately indicating either different Spacings, Plate Sizes or Electrolyte concentrations in the various cells.

My 7 cells need only 3.6Amps and 12.9V for 1L/min.Electrolyser start work 80 days ago,and i need only to add water.Electrolyser can not produce any heat, all the time. This unit conteins 7 separated cells - serial conected .Every cell has own electrolyte.Electrolyte is 28% KOH solut..Electrolyser is conected to power suply(regulated amperage and loltage,and production is measured with hydrogen flow meter.

NaOH(Lye) = 250-300 grams/lit (20-25% solution)
KOH = 350 grams/Liter (28% solution)
I never compare production with Faraday low,I compare with Hydrogen burning efficiency(3.0 - 3.5 KWh / cubic meter)

Don't suppose you could leave an example for the mathematically challenged bunch namely myself....
I don't want you to do it for me (I need to do that myself) I just need an example.
How do you figure out:
d = SEPERATION OF PLATES (cm2)
c = CONCENTRATION (gm. mol. equivalant/liter
p = EQUIVALANT CONDUCTANCE (Ohms -1 cm2 equiv. -1)
I need to reverse engineer thing in order to learn it...
