Guy, it does not work like that, you will not get Brown gas with chlorine or carbon monoxide. for instance, if you mix you're water with NaCl which is salt, you'll get H2 + CL and inside the water you'll will have ions of Na+ and OH- which is NaOH or Lye, if you use Soda, you'll get H2 + O2 which is brown gas a formation of another component inside the solution. You cannot get h,0,h2,o2, because H and O are not stable because of the valence so the link to each other and become stable. If you give them energy, they gonna release from themselve and link to give water, and the fire you see when it is converting to H20 is the energy that is release from the reaction.
