Smack Booster

Hi everyone, I would like to hear from any members who have built the Smacks
booster from the plans on the net, or for that matter any one who would share a
design that works, and produces sufficent gas to boost a moderately heavy 4x4 3
liter diesel. I am familiar with the theory behind the project, I have read up
on the subject for along time now via the net and all the forums I can find, But
I cant find any forum members who have presented a simple cell design that does
what I want. There seems to be a lot of inventing and experimenting taking place
something I would like to do if finances would permit.

It would take a zillion smacks boosters to make a Heavy 4x4 move. Well, not a zillion, but more then you have room for the batteries needed to power them all. I have a post about my first booster I made which was a smacks design, and although it was pretty cool in my opinion, it close to being efficient enough. The smacks is good for initial learning because it is cheap and very easy to build, but as weggl had said just not the way to go. I don't think you will be powering your 4x4 with HHO anytime soon, but you can boost it for better gas mileage pretty easy.

A boosting system is what I have in mind, so I will start by building the smacks system and see what happens.

Can you advise on optimun plate size for this unit I can cut to size from
16 gge.316 ss. if a slightly larger plate can be used, I would try it, the reason for this question being the prototype was built using switch plates, I imagine simply because they were available, the actual surface area would not have been a major issue at the time.
