Thanx chem, I thought that was the correct way but it seemed with the last hho gen I built, a scaled version of the one I am building now, that I was not getting output unless I shorted it to be about 3-4cells instead of 7. I could have done something wrong I guess. Anyways I found a local supplier of acrylic sheets, and with some luck they had a few scrap pieces about 1ftx3ft that they were willing to sell me cheap. I told them to look out for some thicker pieces and give me a call if they get more 1/2" or thicker as scrap material. so I am drilling and tapping things as I type. I still am working on wether it would be feasable/worth my time to glue 2 pcs together to give me a 1"thick piece to work with on 1 side of my cell. Then I can make a small storage tank (sorta) for extra electrolyte and have more room for things like the water level sensor, etc.
Oh, meant to ask weggl, in your series cell what method did you use to seal the cells from leaking? mine I heated slightly and tightened the screws that held everything together till the leaking stopped.
