If you react it with AL and without water it will give out a Dangerous gas..

I inhaled some by mistake, and my throat was irritated ...

I believe it is not too dangerous if you just inhaled it for 1 second but if you inhaled it many times it will cause problems ..

Simple answer is yes. It doesn't matter much what horsepower the engine is. Wasted power is fuel wasted.
