Lots of hydrogen, no bubbles

I just ran some juice through my cell. Series of 5 316 3by 5 , 16 gauge going-+-+- spaced 1/8 apart. It seemed like it was producing a fair amount of Hydrogen (what ever that is) the watter was all white w bubbles. When I put it through a bubbler there was nothing. I waited and waited for it to buid some pressure. Eventually if I raised the bubbler tube untill it was only about an inch or 2 under water it started working. I thought that it is soposed to build up pressure. What do you sopose the reason is (besides just lack of hydrogen) that it couldnt creat enough pressure to push the gaas through more than a few inches of water.

I am new and trying to learn, I know your going to tell me to read. I have been reading hrs a day about this stuff but I could still some guidance.

I was useing plenty of electrolyte, probably more than I needed and the water never got past 105 F

Any air leak in your cell won't allow you to build enough pressure to push it through the tubing. I had the same problem at first, but once I got it completely sealed up, I started getting bubbles.
