Hi Aussie pom,
Firstly the ecm are very sophisticated management tools. The have adoptive learning and you can normally buy a programmer for them relatively cheaply. Most service technitians I know dont rip you off.
With a programmer you can doanything and increase fuel milage by at least 10% and add some horsepower.
If you want to run an engine just on hydrogen or hydroxy you basically need a specifically designed engine. Boosting an engine with some gas is ok however you will run into a host of other problems, mainly metalurgy. You will becertainly able to run any engineon hydroxy...no doubt but it will not last very long.
Most manufacturers have engines built for Hydrogen now...some you can purchase already. In my research I will be using an older engine for proof of concept when I test for gas/HP ratio.
Will be interesting to get the new results from the engine test...make sure its loaded and its important to always be acurate and factual when reporting results otherwise many people can be misled.
Kind Regards
Mark
