hi the mag drive units have very high quality parts and engineering. they have great quality parts available for experimentors as well.
i have trialed a couple and they can run a bit warmrunning12 volts. a pwm device is available o drop the power and by not have too strong an electrolyte the heat can be controlled. I tried one of the pwm Units and they woked great. i would be inclined to get four and wire in series to cut the voltage and they would be suitable for most vehicles.
For big volume gas production i think you need more plate area but 4 in series would give a good performance for most vehicles.
As i said make sure you keep the tempratue down and they should be great.

I have been advised, the seller of the "Mag Drive" uses a threat tactic to keep buyers from telling the truth about how poor they actually work. He gives buyers access to a site, which to access they must agree to terms of confidentially. If a buyer posts unfavorable test results on any site, including here, he uses threats of confidentiality violation to force removal of those unfavorable results. He has already forced the removal of honest test result posts from this site in this manner.

I have never purchased one of his units, but I have examined a couple of them first hand. I am not under any contractual obligation to prevent me from telling the truth here. I will not go ointo construction detail so as to not violate his intellectual property rights.

The manufacture quality of the units is very high, some of the best in this fledgling industry, for a boiler cell. However, the design itself is flawed. It is a steaming behemoth design, plain and simple, and is improperly designed so that edge effects predominate. The cost is way too high for the poor performance factors, as it does not work any better than other steaming behemoth designs. Using many of those units in series is not only cost prohibitive, but will still not make it operate anywhere near the efficiency of a true series cell.

Just about anyone can build a 7 cell series 6" X 6" plate unit for less than 1/3 the price, that can put out 3 times the amount of gas for less than half of the power consumed.

Among many discrepancies on the fuelfromh2o.com site, this one stuck out like dogs balls.

Look at the engine RPM of the test.
It says the allowable limits are at 2500rpm, the vehicle was tested at 1154rpm and 1390rpm, barely off idle.

I didn't buy one, I know there are far superior designs out there. Gag me and send the MIBs to my place. I don't care.
The test results speak for themselves. :lol:
Also on the "You Decide" page

Why on earth did they not do back-to-back testing with the same conditions?
What use are the results when they are not performed under consistent parameters?


MagDrive is a heap of shit in my opinion.
