Pinhead and scotts, The Singh Grooves were a COMPLETE SUCCESS...!!!!!

They work great, just like I'd hoped.
I drove the car today.
Before I drove, I leaned off the fuel..( from 180 Main Jet to 170 ), I advanced
the timing from 4 Deg Advanced to 7.5 Deg Advanced.
Running on 91 Octane - READ Cheap Rubbish Low Octane . . . . . . . .

Now this should have been Aweful - it should have Pinged terribly.

I could not get it to Ping...!
It ran Cooler...!
More bottom end power...!
More responsive to accelerator down low...!

Now this is without any Hyd/Oxy. (seeing I lent my unit to a friend to try).
Next excitement is to connect My New Improved Hydrolyser..............mmmmmmm

great news glenn, i wish i could pull that much gain from my mitsu head, but unfortunately - or fortunately, lol, there is little "dead area" in the head. most of it is open to the combustion area. now my chevy head on the other hand i'm sure will be a different story, i'm sure i'll be able to use the grooves there, ONCE i pull the head off, lol.

Glenn,

How are your singh grooved heads working? I am replacing a head on a 2.5L GM iron duke, and thought about putting grooves in, but i noticed that each piston already has 2 notches 3/4 inch apart. There is also vortex tunneling in the TBI intake manifold.

Just curious if the grooves will improve anything.

Would the vaporization of fuel from these grooves have the same effect as Alaskastars ammo box vaporizer?
