I am gathering parts for the electronic portion of my cell circuit, but I attempting to salvage a full wave rectified from parts laying around the house.
It needs to convert .7v-5vAC to DC, @ no more than 200ma. I thought about using some diodes and a cap to build a four-way rectifier, but I didn't know if there was something I could rip out of a modem or something.
I am trying to recycle, you know, to keep the 'spirit' of what I'm doing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

google "schottky diodes"
normal diodes drop 0.6v so you wont have much voltage left if u want to rectify 0.7v
harder to find second hand though, use the diode tester on your multimeter to test a batch of them, as use the ones with the lowest voltage
schottky diodes drop 0.15 - 0.2v so much less loss, my pwm in my project pages has a couple of high current ones in parallel (they came from the manufacturer as "twins")
