I'm new, questoin

I just have a question, I'm new to electrolysis and was just trying to make a simple generator, and I was wondering what should I use as electrodes and what is a good power source, to make enough hydrogen in a reasonable amout of time to fill say a ballon to normal size...?

Thanks, I've read through your electroylsis project but I'm still kinda confused, I must be stupid, you used a bunch of different power sources so what do you reccomend for what I'm doing just a 12 volt car battery, and what kind of electrodes would work well, what size and shape, Sorry I'm not very knowledgable or smart...lol

i seen a video where a guy fills the balloon, has a kerosene soaked shoestring tied to it for a fuse,lites,lets go and being that hydrogen is about as light or lighter than helium, it flys away and in the sky goes bang
