I think Bob is saying unless a person can effectively work an oscilloscope with many channels, plus frequency measuring equipment and more, they are not an average JOE.

Even after learning to use these devices the inventor needs to be able to have a working knowledge of circuit design so he/she can alter the setup in a safe way.

Minimum requirements

#1 Physics

#2 chemistry

#3 Advanced Electronics

#4 experience with motors, transformers

#5 mechanical construction abilities.

All of these subjects have certain tools that are used to perform that task.

There are very few people who can do all of this safely.

Now having said that what should we do?

That's easy. Use your phone. Call upon each other to do the work of an expert. Each one has abilities. To expect everyone one to be an inventor who can do everything is nuts/insane/ludicrus!!!

Think smart. Get it done today. Call the right person to do a job.

Stan's pipes where tuned, the outer pipe was slotted on top with the simple reason that the larger diameter would resonate at least approx on the same level as the inner tube.

There is another opinnion for the reason of a rectangle slot in a pipe,wish I culd find the refeerance link but ..any ways rectangle slots in pipes create a voltage zone.There is a link out there somewhere that explains that.
