Any Idea What is going on here??

Please let me know what in God's name is happening in this cell? It keeps making gas AFTER the battery has been removed! The cell appears to be only hooked directly to a car battery....no electronics.

It certainly looks like the making of a Joe cell ... not completely clear on the JOE cell thing .. have done quite a bit of reading on this etc.

Now I can explain the tip burning ... the this cell is not making complete pure H and O ... i had the same thing happen to me ... the fuel is contaminated with something ... more presure will certainly push the gas away from the tip to make it ride on a cushin of air ... now pure hydroxy gas will not burn the tip if it is to little presure it will just back flash.

Something that I played around with was putting gasline antifreeze in my bubbler because half the year we live in igloo's up here  this helps to slow down the burn of the hydroxy.

The way I see it for a video undeniable proof is a 2 cam shot maybe ... one over the complete area and then one on the closeup's. So many scams I am the largest sceptic in the world.

That is just my take on this ...

Well, he was using sulfuric acid at 38%.
No telling what metal he was using for the electrodes. (Unless I'm snake bit)
I can't imagine his electrodes lasting very long if they're reacting with the acid like that.

It's making hydrogen and sulfur dioxide, a real nasty gas that turns back into sulfuric acid when it combines with the moisture in the lungs and other moist tissues. Someone give that fool a major stupidity award. Jeesh!

That makes more sense....thanks for the insight. I was at first a little blown away by the idea that he took the power away from the cell, and it kept making gas.

Yea, there are loads of chemical reactions that can produce hydrogen. Some can do it cleanly, and some produce some real nasty products or byproducts. Some can initiate and/or maintain by themselves, some can be initiated and/or maintained with the application of heat, and some can be initiated and/or maintained with the application of electricity. One must look at consumables in factoring the cost of the reaction. In the unit this thread was started over, the consumables would be more than just water.
