im thinking about using some IC's that are also built in voltage regulators to control my cell and use a more KISS approach to driving my cell.

my question is, say i have a single pot, and multiple IC's, such as a LM7805. could i control each of the 7805's with a single pot like shown in the above link? or would it not work, would i have to wire it differently? i figure it'd be fine, since adding more power doesnt change the resistance of the pot, but this is just a signal lead anyways.

rather be sure than wire up a bunch just to burn them out.
