Is it just efficiency?
I want a 230V input and ~70-0-70 output about 500VA

Actually I attempted the top present denseness technique by modelling arcs rather than Copper winding rings by determining the top currents into it. Even if We simulate that, the permanent magnetic energy worth is very little compared to anticipated and therefore the actual seapage inductance as well. And that i uses our large server which is 96 GB Memory, therefore it solves real quick.

While you said, I am unable to see the arrow plots because current is incorporated in the Z-direction.

Could you predict any other causes of the actual lesser energy value compared to expected. I thank you for help.

Diodes tend to be ranked with regard to current based on the warmth they can dissolve. Hollywood diodes are generally a stack associated with lower voltage diodes in one bundle and their dissipation depends on the actual current drop across the diode stack times the current moving.

It does not rely on the actual transformer current.

Discarded microwaves often have a perfectly great diode in them that is used as a half wave rectifier carrying the entire current of the magnetron. These are well worth saving if you get the chance.

The present inside your calculation would be One amp

Power Equals Current - Voltage

2300W Equals Current - 2300V

Present Equals 1 The

However, the primary present would be a lot more like 20 amps (2300 watts Or A hundred and twenty volts) in normal procedure to find the fuses inside your variac coming by trying to make use of that sort of energy from the transformer.
Additionally these types of transformers tend to be fairly reduced inductance however so they pull a large seapage present despite absolutely no strain on the secondary.

Apparently it is necessary to use a word
processor to create the commentary then
paste it in to the reply when needed to
avoid loss when things go awry. But who
remembers to do this until disaster strikes?

Here's hopin' you'll try it again Mael...

Do any of you live near Lancaster, PA and have a heavy knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting? I have 2 broken oscilloscopes from the recent flooding.

They were in the water just an inch or two (fan end) before I realized it and pulled them out. I let them dry out and tried them. They both come on but both have errors now so I suspect a particular component failure in the HP scope and in my Tektronix it appears to be a power issue. I don't get a reading on one leg that's supposed to be 15v. All other values are fine.

I have done hours of tracing and testing on the Tektronix but I'm a newbie at electronics so I need some extra help. :) Even if no one lives near me perhaps we can do this by phone or over the forum. I have the electronic repair manual and all schematics. I see where the general problem is but I need to find the specific "bad" part or component to fix.
