They have, I've heard but not confirmed stainless valves, injectors, feul lines etc which would eliminate the corrosive nature of the gasses.
Plus; when tuning the motors with the new fuel mixture; they already have the diagnostic boxes and adjustable parameters available.
I'm no where near testing this yet but wondered if any of you have, or can correct my assumptions.

I had to replace the head on my 2.5, and the old head was swirl ported, and is a heart-shaped cylinder head. The new one might be swirl-ported, but has oval heads which offer no obstruction or turbulence. It's what I consider a 'dog' head as its compression dropped from 9:1 to 8.2:1.

The hp rating between the 2 90 and 88 respectively. The ft/lbs of tork is about the same. This engine is a long stroke engine and redlines at 5k. It has good low end tork, and works well with a 2400lbs car. This car has 4.10 gears though, so at 3k rpm, we are looking at 70 mph... Still gets 30mph though.

I have been studying heads for a little while now, and it appears that the singh grooves are really beneficial to run an ICE with much higher compression. The engine that I have isn't worth the trouble milling it down to gain compression, but it appears that the grooves allow for a more complete burn, reducing or even eliminating pinging/pre-detonation/knocks, thus, allowing for increased compression, advanced timing, and more hp, tork, and fuel efficiency.

If you look at all the flex fuel cars that are coming out to run E85, they are much higher compression engines. I am willing to bet that these late model flex fuel engines are engineered to create ample turbulence for a more complete burn.

How are your singh grooved heads working? I am replacing a head on a 2.5L GM iron duke, and thought about putting grooves in, but i noticed that each piston already has 2 notches 3/4 inch apart. There is also vortex tunneling in the TBI intake manifold.

Just curious if the grooves will improve anything.

Would the vaporization of fuel from these grooves have the same effect as Alaskastars ammo box vaporizer?
