I've been kicking around some electrolysis with a few different materials lately, when I noticed that I get some pretty thick gas buildup on the inside walls of my cell (which is simply a glass, with two electrodes inside)
Does anyone have any idea why gas might be generated on the walls of the cell? As far as I can tell, there shouldnt be any electrical current present there, since there is a path of least resistence right between the electrodes...
and insights would be handy!Statistics: Posted by Cryptonic26 — Sun Feb 19, 2006 2:43 am
