Aparently If you have a source for H2 and another for Ca, you can mix them, (I have no idea hou, but putting them together on some container, making H flow among Ca particles, so you have

Ca + H ----> CaH

aparently if you start the Electrolytic process, without the calcium stuf, later you will be able to store H2 on CaH2 and release the H2 when mixed with water (looks like a nice deal).

I have no idea if that thing will be corosive or so, I want to run the tests ASAP.

I have no idea Why Numer "2" in some formulas are Big and another are small, I just Copy and paste them, My electronic knowledges and Chemical ones are poor, I just want to do the cell and have fun without polluting my envormoent that hard.

Ok, I have a question for you, and I remember I post it in a diferent place, but I will post here because you gave this lint to have comunication with you. I don't see you arround very often. I hope I can reach you soon :roll:

ok, here is the formula, but, I don´t know where to find the Calcium Hydride powder.

CaH + 2HO ----> Ca(OH) + 2H

In Another Hand, I am building your kind of cell, and, could you please help me with the draw? I have a copy of Corel draw 10, and I was wondering If i can have a copy of the file to paste it into a Vinyl cutter software, so I will have a "mask" where the drill may go. I have no Lasser cutter stuff arround I wll do it By Hand with the Drill Bench I have and running the tip on a low revolutions so I don't hav ethe boro or titanium drill tips, and at low revolutions SS is relative easy to drill, just add some Grase to the tip and be patient, and put some wood under the SS plate.

I will cut the plates as you have said, the same measure, so I don't have misses.1000mm long and about 125mm(5inches) wide (4)
I will buy a 1"pvc pipe and do the thing at th etop to make it wider and find the plastic rods. (the gauge I have for the plates is 28 and 32, means something like 0,010inch 0,40 mm or less.

By the way, are So expensive and not easy to find ( I have 2 sheets 3 x 10 ft by 100 Bucks each :(

Another thing, I am confused about the Electronic device you use, I want to try it with the changes you made, It is hard to find pices on my country but I will fin the way to obtain them (I have the thiny thick SS now

As you said, Tahes even 100A That is so much "A", so I look for your guide and advise (most important Patience)

Can we exchange experiences and files for the device?, I look for the live size file to print or cut the vinyl and the diagram for the cirguit and any info you can share please

here is my email adress if you need it (please fix it before) h20juan at yahoo dot com.

Thanks In advance

Juanito

I know you should be able to locate a valve similar from, say , pick-a-part usually :)

makes welding with h2 safe :)

cheers

using water + H2SO4 as electrolyte, with two of the four plates wired, outlet now has a one way valve, and coiled copper tube (1/8" od, around 1mm id)

at 7v, 30 - 40A chopped to 75% pressure consistant at 15psi and nice flame, that doesnt burn back and explode internally popping the pressure gauge as KOH was doing, will attach to a small motor within the next couple of weeks
