I'd argue from a Christian point of view that if God made the water, its not the states to control. No one can own the rain. And while laws DO control what happens a certain distance above and below your house, I'd argue that if the rain makes it through the govt controlled air space above your house and lands on your roof, then you own it. Its similar arguement to saying they own the air you breathe.......

This sounds like another shonky tax grab.
And I guess it also means its difficult to avoid in effect what is State mandated ( forced? ) fluoridation of your family if you have to drink tap water too...... but all said, you could just buy a reverse osmosis filter which will remove all the junk they put in the water.

One verse I love is this :
Daniel 4:17
"This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ( God ) ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men...."
My interpretation - God sets up Govts which we must obey, however it appears "basest" means "lowest common denominator" ( or use whatever words you think are fit).
So naturally, we shouldnt be surprised if we have to deal with law makers who are the "lowest common denominator"........sure some are good, but it would appear that perhaps most arent.
